# How to save trips and discover new ones > Bookmark anything worth keeping, and understand the difference between the Top and Recent feeds. The **Feed** tab shows public trips from everyone. Anything worth keeping gets bookmarked into the **Saved** tab, which is yours alone — nobody is told that you saved their trip. ## How do I save a trip? Tap the bookmark on any trip you can see. It appears in your **Saved** tab, which has its own filter box once the list grows. The bookmark is not shown on your own trips — saving something you wrote would do nothing. ## What if a saved trip changes or disappears? You always see the current version, not the one you saved. If the author narrows its visibility or deletes it, it leaves your Saved tab. A bookmark is a pointer, not a copy — the author keeps control of their own work. ## What's the difference between Top and Recent? **Recent** is everything public, newest first. **Top** is sorted by rating, and a trip needs a few ratings before it can appear there at all. Recent is where you find new work; Top is where you find work other people have vouched for. ## Why isn't my trip in Top? It needs to be public, and it needs enough ratings. A trip with one glowing score is not evidence of anything, so the Top feed waits for a few. Share it with a [link](/help/share-a-trip-link) to the people who have been there — that is what gets the first ratings in. ## How do I find a particular person? The **Search** tab searches usernames, not trips. Trips are found through the feed, through a link someone sent you, or through a profile once you have found the person. A private trip is in no feed and no search by design; the only way to it is an invitation or a link from someone who can see it. --- Source: https://ntripi.app/help/save-trips-and-find-new-ones
