How to share your trip as a link
Every trip has a web address. Sharing is just sending it — the link is the trip's location, not a password, and access is re-checked against your visibility setting every time anyone opens it.
Get the link#
Open the trip and use the share action. Your device's normal share sheet appears, so the link can go to any app — messages, email, notes.
The page opens in a browser, so the person you send it to does not need the app to read it.
What the preview card shows#
A public trip generates a preview card in most chat apps: the cover image, the title, the total duration and cost, the number of stops, and the rating if it has one.
A trip that is not public generates no preview. That is deliberate — a preview would show the title to everyone in the group chat, including people who cannot open it.
What the reader gets#
The whole trip: the stops in order, the parallel options, the transport between them, the costs, your notes and warnings, and the ratings.
They can read all of it without an account. Saving it, rating it or copying stops from it needs one.
Taking it back#
Change the trip's visibility and the link stops working for anyone who no longer qualifies, immediately. There is no need to chase the message you sent.
What you cannot undo is a screenshot, so treat publishing as publishing.
