What data Ntripi stores, and how to delete it

• Your account — display name, username, email address, and date of birth (never shown to anyone).
• What you create — trips, stops, notes, ratings, and any images you upload.
• Your connections — who you follow, who follows you, who you have blocked.
• Session data — enough to keep you signed in, and a device token if you turned push notifications on.

Uploaded images have their EXIF metadata stripped, including the GPS coordinates of where a photo was taken.

Whoever your visibility setting says, and nobody else. A trip set to only me is visible to you and to anyone you invited to edit it.

Your date of birth is never visible to another user, on any setting. Your email address is not shown on your profile.

Not routinely. Text and images are checked automatically when published, and a person only looks at something when it is reported or flagged by those checks.

Automated checks send the content and nothing else — no user id, no email, no name.

Your profile's edit screen, under Security ▸ Delete account. You confirm with your password, or with Google if that is how you sign in.

Deletion is permanent and takes your trips with it. Trips other people saved stop working, since a bookmark is a pointer rather than a copy.

Write to [email protected]. That address is the data-protection contact named in the privacy policy, and it reaches the people who can actually action a request.
