Delete your Ntripi account
No longer have the app? Enter the email address of your Ntripi account. We'll send that address a link: open it within an hour and confirm, and the account is deleted.
Still have the app? You can delete your account there too: your profile's edit screen, under Security ▸ Delete account.
What is kept after I delete my account?
Deletion removes your profile, your email address and date of birth, your trips with their photos, your follows, blocks and saved trips, your notifications and any appeal you had open. A few things stay, because other people rely on them or because they are evidence:
- Your ratings and reviews stay on the trips you rated — the score and the text — without your name or any link to you, so those trips keep their ratings.
- Moderation records — reports you filed or that were filed about your content, and decisions taken about your account or content — are kept without a time limit. A decision a moderator took keeps a copy of what it was about, which for an account is its email address and username.
- Photos a moderator removed are kept as evidence.
- Bug reports you sent stay until they are closed and have aged out, no longer linked to you.
If your account is suspended when it is deleted, a one-way code made from its email address is kept, so that address cannot be used to sign up again until we lift the block.
If part of your account is under legal review, deletion waits until the review is closed, then happens on its own, and we email you when it is done. The privacy policy has the full detail.
