Language, dark mode, sounds and haptics

Ntripi is available in English, French, Arabic, German, Spanish and Chinese. It follows your device's language when that is one of the six, and you can override it here.

Arabic switches the whole interface to right-to-left. The choice also travels with legal documents and this help centre when you open them from the app.

System, Light or Dark. System follows your phone, including its automatic day-and-night schedule, and is the default.

Dark mode is a true dark, not a grey — worth knowing if you read plans in bed.

Two independent switches. Sound effects are the small cues — a notification arriving, a rating landing. Haptics are the taps you feel, including one short buzz per star as you set a rating.

Each acknowledges itself with the setting you just chose, so you can hear or feel what you are turning on.

On by default on phones: shaking captures the screen and opens a bug report. If you gesture a lot while reading, turn it off here — Settings ▸ Support ▸ Shake to report.

It is deliberately hard to trigger by accident: it wants two distinct shakes, ignores you unless the app is in front, and waits a few seconds before it can fire again.
